Director’s Profile

Martin Shaw – Chairman

He was appointed Chairman and Managing Director in 1999 and played a key role in the company's rapid growth and expansion during the following 10 years.

In 2009 Martin stood down as Managing Director to concentrate on future business development and liaison whilst continuing to provide support and guidance to the rest of the Board.

Andy Carr – Managing Director and Health & Safety Director

Andy has extensive experience within the business environment.  A results driven and commercially focused negotiator, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and supplier relationships. 

Methodical and organised in the management of work and personnel

Prior to joing F&S Andy worked at The BSS Group as a Branch Manager and as a Business Director.

Initial role within F&S was in Operations and the Business quickly acquired ISO9001 and ISO14001 to embed the good company practises.

Appointed Managing Director in 2009.

Kevin Large – Project Director



Kevin has worked within the Construction Industry for over 20 years. He started in the first instance as a plumber/pipe fitter with Relyon Engineering before joining    F & S in 1989 as part of the original set-up team. He quickly progressed to a Supervisor before joining the Board of Directors in 1999.                                            
                                                                                                                                
Current role is that of Project Management.

John Earley – Project Director

John has worked within the Construction Industry for over 30 years. Most of that time was spent with Weldtite Engineering where he started as a company buyer. Thereafter he became a supervisor in the car plant services division based mainly at Luton Vauxhall Plant. He joined F & S in 2004 and was appointed the the Board of Directors in 2005.

Current role is that of Project Management.
