Director’s Profile

Martin Shaw – Chairman

Martin has worked within the construction industry for 25 years. Initially he worked 6 years for Weldtite Engineering as an apprentice fitter/welder before joining F & S in 1989.

He was appointed Chairman and Managing Director in 1999 and played a key role in the company's rapid growth and expansion during the following 10 years.

In 2009 Martin stood down as Managing Director to concentrate on future business development and liaison whilst continuing to provide support and guidance to the rest of the Board.

Andy Carr – Managing Director and Health & Safety Director

Andy has extensive experience within the business environment. A results driven and commercially focused negotiator, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and supplier relationships.

Methodical and organised in the management of work and personnel

Prior to joing F&S Andy worked at The BSS Group as a Branch Manager and as a Business Director.

Initial role within F&S was in Operations and the Business quickly acquired ISO9001 and ISO14001 to embed the good company practises.

Appointed Managing Director in 2009.

Kevin Large – Project Director

Kevin has a vast knowledge of the business with over 20 years worth of experience.

His sound management skills and efficient operations enable Kevin to complete projects with first class results.

Kevin has completed large scale projects through his extensive experience and in depth understanding of the business processes.

John Earley – Project Director

John has worked within the Construction Industry for over 30 years.

He has enhanced his reputation within the industry with eminence rising to the Board Of Directors in 2005.

An enterprising and client focused leader with an eye for attention to detail.

Johns proven track record has seen him control large projects on time and to the highest quality.
