Procedures & Quality AssuranceF&S Pipework Services Limited carry out quality assurance inspections for all projects. The objective of their Quality Assurance Program is to maintain an already high standard of construction and to constantly improve upon this. The policy of F&S Pipework Services Ltd is to supply Labour, Plant and Materials of an approved quality standard that is paramount to safety and reliability working practice requirements with the client in order to ensure total customer satisfaction. The company provides mechanical and public health installation services. The company quality system has been established to provide assurance that the services provided by F&S Pipework Services Ltd are as follows:- • Materials are of the required quality. • Conform to all relevant specification. • Conform to all requirements to ensure customer satisfaction. • Operatives are suitable to the task presented. • Suitable equipment for the task. This quality system applies to all services supplied by the company. The responsibility for the quality system is that of the Operations Director Andy Carr who reports to the Managing Director on quality matters. This responsibility does not relieve any manager of his responsibilities for the quality of work performed by their staff. Please view the below attachments as an example of the incorporated works. Method Of QA 1 - Inspection Test Plan (as below) is agreed with the client to identify who undertakes all parts of the inspections, handovers, testing. 2 - Area Snagged (inspection sheet enclosed in 5th floor handover) to pick up any outstanding works. Site supervisor rectifies snaggs and signs paperwork ready to hand to the Operations Director who will then issue to the client for comment. 3 - Pressure Testing of the area completed to ensure no leaks etc. 4 - Area inspected again for prior to handover with client. 5 - Copy of all paperwork handed to client electronically upon completion of area including inspection sheets, testing sheet, handover documents, calbration of testing equipment and drawings of areas handed over.
